Member Terms and Conditions

These Member Terms govern your use of the Fikapass platform ("Platform") operated by Barium Ventures ("we", "us", "our"). The Platform enables coffee shops and similar businesses ("Partner Shops") to offer memberships directly to customers.

1. Role of the Platform

Fikapass provides software that enables Partner Shops to sell memberships. All goods, services, and in-store experiences are provided solely by the Partner Shop. The Partner Shop is the merchant of record for all transactions.

2. Memberships

Membership details, pricing, benefits, and usage limits are set by the Partner Shop. Memberships may include capped usage (e.g. fixed number of drinks per period) or promotional benefits (e.g. discount-based memberships).

All redemptions must occur in person at the Partner Shop’s designated location(s).

3. Auto-Renewal

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method.

You may cancel at any time via your account. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless the Partner Shop chooses to provide one.

4. Payments

Payments are processed via Stripe directly on behalf of the Partner Shop. The Partner Shop is responsible for billing, refunds, and resolving disputes.

5. Cooling-Off Rights

Where applicable under UK consumer law, you may have a 14-day right to cancel an online subscription. If benefits have already been used, the Partner Shop may deduct a proportionate amount.

6. Member Conduct

You must not engage in fraud or misuse, including account sharing, QR code sharing, or attempting to manipulate usage limits. Partner Shops may suspend or remove Members for misuse.

7. Removal or Suspension

Partner Shops may remove or suspend a Member for misconduct, fraud, or breach of shop policies. Refund decisions remain the responsibility of the Partner Shop.

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for the quality of goods or services provided by Partner Shops or for in-store incidents.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
